.:: MSNGeeks.com - Contact List Rebuilder ::.

This tool will connect with the MSN servers, then use your supplied .NET Passport account information to login and retrieve your current contacts list. This data is then parsed for unnecessary contact list "junk" data, which is then deleted. This usually repairs problems related to corrupted contact lists, and it helps to speed up login times. A more detailed description can be found at the bottom of this page. At peak hours, results may be delayed a few seconds. If you have any privacy concerns regarding your .NET Passport information, please refer to the link at the bottom of this page.

Detailed Description:
This tool is meant for MSN users experiencing problems with corrupted lists; primarily, when others are unable to see your true online status, or when you get numerous "Add Contact" requests upon signing into your account with MSN Messenger. Recently MSN adjusted its servers to limit the size of "Allow Lists", to help prevent MSN Bots. The down side to this is that, messenger users who add/delete users fairly often can easily reach these limits themselves. The result is a corrupted list, with various chaotic problems. If you are experiencing these issues, we suggest you use this tool. This tool will also help to make logging in faster, as there will be less "junk" data needed to be sent to your MSN Messenger client from the MSN servers.

What This Tool Does With Your List:
This tool goes through your entire contact list, visible to you, and not visible to you. To make things more clear, your list actually consists of the following 5 lists:
  • Forward List: contacts visible to you in MSN Messenger.
  • Allow List: contacts allowed seeing your status, and who can send you messages.
  • Block List: contacts blocked from seeing your status, and who cannot send you messages.
  • Reverse List: contacts that have you on their forward list.
  • Pending List: contacts awaiting an "Add Contact" request.
This tool will delete all unnecessary contacts in your allow and block lists. Unnecessary being contacts you've deleted from your forward list, and who have also deleted you from their forward list. If in the future one of you decides to re-add the other, you will be asked if you wish to allow or block them again. Regardless, you do not need to worry about this tool damaging your list, it merely removes "junk" data.
